"Arrived very late, flight delays and then a road closure forcing a substantial detour. Thankfully my room card had been left out with a useful note and I was able to access the room. It was cold, no curtains, and couldn't figure out the heating but the bed was warm and that was all I cared about! Shower okay in the morning, Job done. Thanks."

"Location for Stansted Airport good, in country though. Nice room, bed & shower but dinner is only up to 8:30pm and no breakfast available for early flights as itā€™s only served from 8am and needed to leave by 7:15. They did offer a takeaway breakfast but it was poor (they donā€™t normally offer it) and needs to be organised properly for it to be beneficial to the customer."

"Its not what I didn't like staying at the place. As the place is very reasonable in price concidering the places around the area. For short stays its good. Comfy bed shower and toilet facilities. Place is clean what more do you want. I noticed people want everything for a cheap price. Simple rooms with a bathroom. The couple running the site are lovely and friendly but if booking to stay please read what your needs are. "

"This worked out great for our family. We spent most of our time in nearby Bishopā€™s Stortford with family. For rest, morning coffee and winding down in the evening, this place was perfect. It was clean and quiet, the mornings and evenings were cool and calm, very relaxing. The place is a bit remote, but that was easily remedied by the superior taxi service we experienced during our stay. We would strongly consider staying again on future visits and feel comfortable passing along this...

"It was a lovely gated community , safe and serene surrounded by nature . A bit far from train station though if you donā€™t have a car . Harold wood station is 9 minutes drive where you can catch the Elizabeth Line . The only concern was that a fob should be given to long term guests to get in and out of the main gate , that was a hassle . Otherwise I would highly recommend this stay ."
