"Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. "

"We chose this place based purely on its location and hoped for the best. It didn’t wow us, but it didn’t disappoint. My biggest issue is that there was no one in the office for check in, our key was in an envelope with our names on it taped to the office door with a page of instructions, and we had to call the number on the instruction sheet to find out about things like the wifi only to be told that it was in “the notebook”. The notebook they referred to was buried in a basket that I had to dig...

"Great Stay"

"I like the location and the beautiful woods outside on the back balcony. However, the decor and furniture look like it came from a museum the 80s. Also, I was unlucky enough to be on the lower unit of the two and had very noisy neighbors, which is not too good with a wooden floor and also a connecting door that I had to put cushions up against deaden their noise. This is not the hotels fault I understand that, but beware if you get a unit that’s on the lower floor of the villas. "

"Loved the unique room with working fireplace, built ins full of antiques , loft with twin beds, high ceilings, large bathroom area. lovely living/dining room with nice offerings for delicious breakfasts. "

"Property is very peaceful and relaxing - close to many beautiful Mountain areas that are a MUST see. Hosts are so kind and gracious. Great communicators! Perfect for a couple - very warm and welcoming!"
