The goldfish pond is a few feet from the house and has a bench to sit on. BBQ worked great and there’s a firepit too. The home felt too warm at times and we wish we had control of adjusting the thermostat. Also, some bathroom doors didn't have functioning locks. Couple bathroom were missing shower mats and hand towels. Overall we enjoyed our stay and recommend this property. "

A few miles from downtown Chimney Rock, right on a Lake Lure quiet cove, and a 1 minute drive from a nice lakeside restaurant. "My husband and I along with our 3 adult children and their families stayed for two nights. The home is beautiful--every bit as nice as the photos or even better. With the four bedrooms we had plenty of space for each family. The kids loved the pac man and shuffleboard. The resort passes were great--we enjoyed the pool and beach. Rumbling Bald is very nice!! The owner responds very quickly to questions and is a good communicator! Five stars thumbs up from out group"

"Lake lure took a big hit to the storm. But this cabin had all we needed to keep us occupied during our stay. Restaurants and some shops are open. Loved how everyone is so open to helping each other. House was so lovely, owner was very accommodating. Anytime I had a question. I texted him personally. He responded very quickly. I highly recommend this house. We will come back."
