The restaurant was excellent and everyone so kind and friendly. I saw the most spectacular sunrise and sunset at the property. You can't help but fall in love with the Hotel and it's natural beauty in the seaside surroundings."

"Interesting first stay at Grand Hotel Hartlepool i am sure once it was a very plush hotel but starting to look a bit tired these days most annoying was noisy plumbing which did wake me up sometimes but staff were all very friendly and moved me after problems with my tv and Internet "

"The hotel was ideal for a clean,well located cheap night.the location was quiet,so we slept well..even if we felt the bed was a little small for a double bed..en-suite shower was excellent.staff were helpful over the phone and friendly in the morning."

"This was a great hotel, in that it was old, and rustic in a good way. Lovely setting by a brook. The food was excellent. Good friendly bar area. Open fire, very dog friendly. The beds and bed limen and showers were very clean and comfortable. Just bits of dust on the skirting and a bit tired in places. Rooms had tea and coffee and a welcoming snack for both people and their pet friends Would definitely stay again . "
