"Looked after extremely well. Not certain about the lack of amenities in the double room for disabled people. Nowhere to hang bathroom robes or wash bags and for a non-disabled person the wash basin was extremely low, small and difficult as an older person to use. "

"Lovely clean room, comfy bed. Ate in the bar & enjoyed a nice meal, friendly staff in bar area. It was not warm enough to sit in the garden but in warmer weather there were plenty of tables outside in a nice spacious garden. Hotel is situated away from the centre of whitby but is very handy for the park & ride bus service which works out much cheaper than using the town car parks. "

"Staff was very friendly & helpful plenty of choice to eat in the restaurant, down sides there was a work station in the room but no chair to sit on to work, TV was very hit and miss it is free view and most of the channels didn’t work toilet roll was just placed on the top of the holder which is very lazy by housekeeping. Bed had sharp wooden corners on it which I caught my shin on 3 or 4 times I’m sure it would be easy enough to make the corners round instead of sharp "

"We enjoyed a 3 night stay at The Wilson Arms. It’s a lovely little Restaurant/Pub/B&B. Tastefully decorated with modern touches although keeping some of the old charm. Everything was finished to a great standard and our room was very comfortable with comfy bed and good shower. It was an excellent base for exploring Whitby and the Yorkshire Moors. We used the P&R into Whitby which had, conveniently, just started running again for the Season Breakfast provided a good choice of cereal and cooked...

"Had a lovely 2 nights at the dolphin hotel with a lovely view of the water. The staff was amazing & locked our key in the room by accident and couldn't find spare key but they called a locksmith who got us back in. The hotel is lovely and food is amazing. Will definitely stay here again. Wish we had longer. "
