"This hotel was very budget friendly and had great staff. Check-in was great. Nice quiet room in a good neighborhood. Nice walk to the city center and great food options. Nice breakfast buffet in the morning to get you started. The only bad part of the stay was sewer smell. We mitigated this by filling a bag with water and putting it over the shower drain. This seemed to manage the issue. Great value hotel with great staff!"

"Lovely stay at Shamrock. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool felt slightly like an amenity that somewhere you could swim (there were no pool loungers). Rooms were lovely and nicely decorated."

"Cheap rooms but there are several better ones around for the same price. Annoying check with lots of paperwork to sign. Very thin walls so pick up the noise outside. Clean but very old rooms and bedding. Several floors but no lift. The hotel has a new and old building a few side streets apart which is confusing when try to find it. Make sure you know which you need. On the plus side, is cheap and reasonably clean. "

"Lovely hotel in a good location. The staff are really lovely. There's a nice restaurant directly opposite too which was handy. The only thing letting it down was that the rooms were a bit noisy. We moved room in the end and it was slightly better but still not great. We were top floor so I think what kept us awake were compressors from the Aircon on the roof kicking in and out. It wasn't a deal breaker, just make sure you take earplugs. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was very accommodating and genuinely happy to help you. Bed a little hard, but ok. Pool nice too. The burger place attached to it, they were so delicious! Also the bkft had a very nice variety. "

"Really like the location of this hotel! In Old Chiang Mai, by the moat and just steps away from the Sunday Night Market! Good restaurants and drinks near by. Great walking location. Room was comfortable! Good breakfast buffet was also included. Nice pool to relax by. Great value and location! "

"Great location, walkable to major temples, laundry service next door, several nice restaurants and massage places and 7 eleven 5 minutes walk, easy to get transportation, walking streets and night markets 10 minutes walk, very safe area, quiet, comfortable room, comfortable bed, very helpful and friendly staff. Nice breakfast. No bathroom problems. Room small with not enough furniture to store personal belongings. Small swimming pool, did not use it. Overall very nice hotel. Will stay again. "
