"Had tried to stay at this property with 3 friends, booked a couple days in advance and we were coming from Bangkok. Zero interaction with the host, waited at the property trying to get in contact for over an hour. Had to spend another hour with Vrbo support where I just said give me a refund. Huge waste of time, and multiple cab trips. Steer clear"

"Floors were very clean, as were bathrooms. Had a nice kitchen and they provide bottled water as well. Close to downtown markets and in a quiet neighborhood. Was easy to find, especially knowing they had an orange gate. "

"The location is ideal for experiencing Chiang Mai's Old City temples and the famous Sunday Walking market. Plenty of restaurants and services nearby but no grocery, if you intend to prepare meals. It is a 2 story unit."

"We had a wonderful stay at this unique property. Our host Paul was very responsive to any questions we had and he made some recommendations for nearby restaurants and local sites. The location is near enough to walk to several restaurants, small vendors and markets. It’s about a 20-25 minute walk to Old Town. The home was well stocked and exceptionally clean. The beds were super comfortable and the home was remarkably quiet considering it’s located in a fairly busy neighborhood. Our neighbors...

"My family of six (spouse, three kids, mother-in-law) had a great time at Chez Pom. The house is right between the old city and the night bazaar, so there was plenty of night life to be had within walking distance. Yet because the house is set back from the street it was surprisingly quiet. The house was very clean, and the AC in each room was wonderful. Pom gave us a helpful tour when we arrived and we had everything we needed. The washing machine was helpful given our many sweaty adventures...

"This property is in a good location, very close to old town. The home is very large and it was great to have a bathroom in each bedroom. It is very clean. The living area is quite sparse with uncomfortable chairs for seating. . A sofa or sectional would have made a big difference as far as comfort. Also the stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep. This property would not be good for someone with mobility issues. "

"Nice clean space, well equipped. Very local experience. Beds need some updating. Location is tricky to communicate to tour operators and taxis. We used the Jasmin hotel and walked down the alley way. "

"What you see (advertisement) is exactly what you get. All is in place, all is working, view is astonishing. Host is very responsive & helpful. Just make sure to be "mobile" (rent a scooter/car) for it is a bit outside the city (+/- 20 min)."

"It was in a quiet and secure neighborhood. Plenty of space and has 3 full bathrooms and one half bath on the main floor. Lots of stairs so you have to be prepared to climb to get to bedrooms."

"Traveling with a group of 8 through Thailand. The location is withing walking distance to Old City shopping, restaurants and night markets. The home is clean and has all of the necissities including a waher and dryer."

"Lovely stay and lovely staff, they were so helpful! The breakfast each morning was delicious, there were so many great amenities! The pool is lush and gorgeous. This is in a safe area however not very walkable. Front desk is helpful when calling cabs to the city."

"I have been staying in Centara Riverside every time I come to Chiang Mai for the past 5 years. The room is spacious with view. The breakfast buffet is tremendous. However, the bathrooms in the room desperately needs upgrade/remodel. Another complaint is long wait for the 5 guest elevators during checkout time, up to 30’minutes wait for a vacant elevator "

Clean hotel and good location.

"Nice clean hotel with good sized room. It was great to have a nice pool to cool off in the afternoon after seeing the sites. The room was clean and the hotel offered the choice of not having the cleaning staff in every day. As a single person in the room I did not need the room cleaned every day. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is near a main road in the old town and a good place for pick up for day tours. It is close to restaurants and easy walking to several tourist sites."
