"Straight up: This hotel itself, once you walk through the doors, in regards to the food and the staff, is very nice. Stylish, comfortable, fast consistent WiFi. This is entirely incongruous with the area around it, which can only be described as grotty and unappealing on many fronts. If you _need_ to stay in Paharganj, near New Delhi railway station, it is a very solid option. If you prefer more appealing surroundings near your hotel, this might not be your best option."
