"Upon arrival, we saw little monkeys playing on the canopy. At breakfast we heard and saw beautiful parrots above. Everywhere we saw beautiful plants and animals. The staff was helpful and friendly. I could submit requests or questions to the front desk via Whatsapp, which was very convenient. The food was terrific. The pool was the perfect temperature. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and beautiful. Fantastic stay, we're sad to leave!"

"Aunque solo me quedé una noche disfruté mucho de la atención que le brindan a sus huéspedes. Atentos a detalles. Yo tuve una situación de que sin querer se me quedó un objeto de valor y estando en el aeropuerto para irme me percaté. Me puse en contacto con ellos y coordinamos un uber para que me llevara mis pertenencias y el encargado de recepción estuvo en todo momento en comunicación conmigo. 20/10! Excelente servicio !!!"

"Very convenient to the National Park. Golf cart service to take you from the parking lot up to the rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice pools! Enjoyed our stay. The upper level / larger rooms are worth the upgrade. A bit noisy since the building frames are metal (shipping containers)."

"Hotel is dated and in need of some repair and updating but doesn’t compromise cleanliness and comfort. We felt very safe and cared for at this hotel. The proximity to the park and beach was a plus for little kids and made things easy. The staff was incredibly kind. We did find a crab in our hotel room but that’s to be expected when you’re up against the jungle! The family pool and wet bar was great to enjoy a few drinks while watching the kiddos easily. "I was traveling with my 20 year old son for spring break. Overall, Hotel Plaza Yara was a very nice place to stay. The staff was professional, attentive and helpful. The daily breakfast was plentiful and quite tasty -- fresh fruit, eggs, plantains, rice and beans, toast, banana pancakes -- lots of choices!
