"- right next to a tram spot - super clean rooms and nice bathroom - all staff we dealt with were wonderful - free mini bar! (One beer, two cokes, two waters) Only downfall was the room was SO hot! It was 0 degrees mostly when we were there but had to sleep with the door open as it was too hot / stuffy. Otherwise, I really recommend and thank all of the staff! :)"

"Clean, modern room and the hotel was really quiet at night. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative was the shower gel was running very low and not filled up and only two hangers in the wardrobe which was not enough for our five night stay. Location was ok, not many eating places next to the hotel but only a short walk to the train station where there were great transport links and places to eat. Around 15 minutes to walk to the centre of Basel...

"Great choice in the area to explore both sides of the border. It is much cheaper to stay in Germany than Switzerland. A ten minute walk to the Rheinfelden train station on the Swiss side where you can access all of Switzerland. Breakfast is very good, room is up to date and clean. Staff is friendly and attentive. Elevator is tiny! Several grocery stores nearby. Would like it better if the room to had a fridge. I've stayed here twice and would happily do so again."

"The location of the East-West Riverside is amazing. Very convenient to many of Basel's tourist areas and has beautiful views of the river. It's clean, and well-kept with modern furnishings and decor. There was a small Christmas market (just food and beverages) right outside the front door of the hotel that we really enjoyed (early December). "Okay so this was the 2nd IBIS we’ve stayed at in Mulhouse during our travels and by far the one needing some care and upgrades. I’m not expecting excellence with this hotel chain and to be fair the bed was comfortable and the water hot so basic needs met. It wasn’t the cleanest and the toilet seat was chipped. The wall colours were so depressingly decorated with a single red panel meant to brighten up the rooms. Breakfast was minimal ( compared for example with IBIS in Calais). The shop bought...
