"Amazing public bath - temperature perfect, water clean with cold water dip and sauna available for men's bath. All amenities are included, so you wouldn't need any lotions, shampoos, face wash, body towels, razors, etc. Sufficient parking available although, the 2nd parking lot is a bit of a walk, but only a minute or two. "Wonderfully food experience. We were there on a holiday so there wasn't much open. Still, we went on a big walk in the rain - the Literature walk was well worth it 🙂. The town has a lovely feel. Pity about transport."

"I’ve booked twice om different days. Toilet noise flushing whole night. Onsen is great but foreign visitor’s don’t wash and just directly go to the pool. "

"Room had a fabulous view out to sea. Booked the hotel for the kids to use the waterslide but it was not open (despite it being September and still very hot) - that was disappointing. The kids did have fun nonetheless in the arcade and squash court. Property was tired and run down, outdoor areas overgrown and not maintained. It was very clean though. Perhaps it is better maintained at peak periods? Staff friendly and helpful."
