"The hotel is charming with unique and fun features like a glass elevator and the roof top terraces. We had a two room suite so that our kids could be in an adjoining room. It was small but comfortable. Check-in is strictly at 4pm so, as you would imagine, there were a lot of people trying to check in at the same time. We came in a few minutes before 4 and did not have to wait too long. The neighborhood is in the heart of the historic Old San Juan and close to one of the old forts. Great walking...

Pool and breakfast area are nice, although, the round lounge cushions are already showing some discoloration and wear. Staff was nice (but not always responsive, more on that below).
