"This is a great place to stop over, the reception staff are lovely and really helpful, I think the ladies name was Sarah. The room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom was not as good, the fan didn’t work which has subsequently made the metal toilet roll holders and other metal items rusty and the bath was badly chipped which made it look dirty. We had 2 large double beds that were clean and comfortable with extra pillows I would stay there again. "

"I like the architecture and design of the property, like the area as I have lots of memories living near by for 4 years, love local diner and antic shops, to have chinese food next door was also convenient, appreciate to have a quiet room. I was only regret not to have a brush for the toilet in the bathroom.. The staf was very kind and friendly.. so thank you all"

"A 1 night stay for work reasons. The pub and food are excellent with a good selection at a reasonable price. My room was comfortable but very cold due to the old leaking sash windows. All in all for the price it's ok for a 1 night stay. "

"Mainly very good rooms, comfortable and clea. However, they are currently refurbishing the corridors which badly need it, so one side of hotel has scaffolding attached. Very polite lady on reception and good value breakfast."
