"Lovely room outside, (no stairs). Very very comfortable and big bed. Powerful shower. Ordered food and the lady behind the bar carried the tray to my room. Spacious room. A little noise from next door, but the bed was so comfy, I went straight to sleep. "

"Had an excellent stay here, staff very friendly and accomodating, rooms spotless, food excellent for both evening meal and breakfast and very reasonably priced. Only slight negative was the room maybe needs some slight updating, the carpet was coming away from the wall and was fraying and the kettle had to be used on the floor as the flex didnt reach the plug socket. "We loved the location of the property...not too far from the shops, bars and restaurants and it was in quiet surroundings. The owner was very welcoming and we felt relaxed staying there. The property was unique and very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay in beautiful Stamford."

"Amazing room warm and cosy spacious matteress was a little soft for me but only a little thing on the overall stay . Lovely and quiet great tea tray and shower gels handwashes etc of a great quality (john lewis) , brilliant wifi and free and good freeview tv with good signal... overall great country cottage feel. Loved it will defo stay again"

"Very good value for money , clean and all facilities you need. Dont do breakfast but recommend a cafe called Granny’s in Weedon which was excellent. We had an evening meal at the narrow boat which was very good"
