The heating in the room could have been better. Despite the windows being only single glazed, there was no significant disturbance during the night. An earlier cooked breakfast for those starting work early would have been nice.

Michael

Room mostly clean, however lots of cob webs and needs a good dusting. Radiator heat was poor but an electric heater was already in the room and warmed it up nicely. Bedding was fresh and clean as were bathroom towels. Breakfast was ok, ate out both evening at the excellent Lounge opposite. Feels like a place running on fumes until it fails, which is unfortunate because it could be much more if investment was available. Was awoken on both nights at midnight by the fire alarm. Staff were friendly and trying their best. Very much a contractors hotel in my eyes.
