"This property is just over the French border but Basel tram 11 gets close. Pool was a pleasant surprise. Rooms are good size, shower stall well designed. Day Concierges were very helpful. Breakfast buffet was good (cook your own real eggs)."

"At a fault of my own me and a friend booked this hotel not realising it was in the middle of the red light district, this at times did feel un easy walking the streets in the evening. That being said it was a nice stay and easily walkable to places. Although it’s self check in, staff were reachable via the phone which was helpful. "

"It was a nice property with very helpful staff. Well maintained. The coffee machine in the lobby was fantastic and convenient. The only downside was the heat in our room. There is no Aircon. We opened the window and turned on the fan but it was still to hot."

"Great choice in the area to explore both sides of the border. It is much cheaper to stay in Germany than Switzerland. A ten minute walk to the Rheinfelden train station on the Swiss side where you can access all of Switzerland. Breakfast is very good, room is up to date and clean. Staff is friendly and attentive. Elevator is tiny! Several grocery stores nearby. Would like it better if the room to had a fridge. I've stayed here twice and would happily do so again."

"A nice, quaint hotel outside of Basel. We found a parking spot fairly easily. We choose to take a bus into Basel, which was easy and affordable. Just a short walk to the stop. Everyone was very nice and helpful. They worked hard to keep the guests happy. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant was excellent. This is not a business hotel but a nice getaway. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice. The back garden was nice, with a stream running along it. Relaxing. They do have an outdoor...
