"Interesting property with many retained aspects of the old prison. Rooms ate obviously small, with little storage, no hair driers etc. slightly disconcerting obscured glass loo and shower 'box' in the room. Great breakfast, with good choice. "

"This hotel is located in very convenient location and all the hotel staffs are amazing. Stayed at family room with balcony. Love listening to hourly bells from balcony was quite a memory from the hotel. After we left, we got a message from hotel that they found out lost property and now it’s on its way back to Australian home. And I should say the restaurant became really popular Swiss fondue restaurant at dinner time. Didn’t know so many different fondue options available. We really enjoyed...

"Overall, we had a good stay. We only stayed for the night, but the front desk staff was friendly and our room was clean. We could hear the traffic from our room, but the sound died down over-night. It was a quick and easy drive to the airport the next morning. "

"Hotel is very close to the main train station with easy access to all the main tourist attractions in Zurich. There is a Starbucks next to the hotel if you like American style coffee drinks. I would recommend the hotel if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel for a short stay in Zurich. "

"This was an awesome hotel. 10' walk from train station and no stairs (however, there are cobblestones). The front desk staff were particularly awesome. I forget her name, but one of the ladies was so helpful when my husband needed some medical help. Very much appreciated! The only small negative is that the soap dispensers were VERY hard for me to squeeze (both shower & sink) to get soap dispensed - but I do have arthritis :( Other than that, don't hesitate to book these lovely, yet affordable...

Its location does mean you always hear the inevitable buzz of the city even in the small hours, but it’s never too obtrusive. "
