"Mostly great, breakfast service was a bit haphazard, clearly nobody in charge. Not everything available at 8.00. Had to ask for butter. Menu says breakfast is from 7.30. Long wait to take breakfast orders. Light outside front door on during the day, off at night when you need it. Lights at front gate have glass hanging out. Needs attention to detail, I.e. management."

Quick check-in staff very friendly, room was a bit dated, but was well looked after, clean and tidy. The bathroom was in good condition and spotlessly clean. Free parking on site is a bonus. If you have any mobility issues however, I wouldn't recommend as we stayed at the top which had narrow steep stairs. Other odd quirks were there was not one bowl in the room or kitchen. Also we booked for 3 people and arrived to a room with a fold out and had to find the bedding. We found a fitted sheet available (but didn't fit the fold out couch properly) and a blanket...
