"Stayed in January 2025. Hotel is close to the Metro and Sagrada Familia. Shops and restaurants nearby. Decent room size. Mini cooler, TV. Breakfast buffet with good selections at only 8 Euros. Room facing the street. Though it was winter, room was warm as AC not working in room 105. You have to open the window to let cool air in and the noise though not that bad Dumpsters are in front of the hotel but they don't smell. There's a small Japanese resto next to it. "

"The Portal de l'Angel is a lovely hotel. It is an older but quaint hotel with a lot of charm. We stayed here twice, before and after our cruise and were very pleased.
