"The property itself was GREAT!!!! The only complaint I had was all noise from traffic outside, if you left windows open. Other than that, this was a very convenient location, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel even stores your luggage at no cost. Great place to stay!!!! "The service here is absolutely incredible!! The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was unforgettable. The hotel itself is a former palace and the fresco in the breakfast room is worth the price of admission. There is an excellent restaurant across the street where we enjoyed a Florintine Steak Extravaganza. Get the breakfast- totally a steal. Location also perfect especially if you are arriving by train. "Loved our stay here! The staff was so nice and accommodating (letting us check in much earlier than check out). The room was clean, beautiful, and air conditioned. Not being used to the humidity we are most thankful for that! The only thing I’d say is that the shower doors were not able to close all the way so water got out and made the floor super wet so we felt bad leaving it like that. "This is outside of where we normally stay (near SMN) but it was excellent. Great staff, you can buy food in the lobby & micro in the main room. We learned to take the bus to wherever we were headed for the day. There’s a killer gelato place at the Piazza Baccaria where we went daily. Easy walk to caffe and dolci because we didn’t want the available hotel breakfast. Good restaurants. A lot less touristy and better prices, yet only 3 blocks from the Arno.
