"This is a nice hotel near the historic center of Porto Alegre. It's at the bottom of a hill, so be prepared to walk up and down hilly streets to get around. The neighborhood isn't great (there is a fair amount of homeless people on the street, right in front of the hotel), but it never felt unsafe to me. The service is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the internet was good. For the price and convenience, I recommend it."

"The hotel is right in the historical center of town and was walkable to events. But it is run down- mold in the bathrooms, paint and plaster peeling off the walls. There were bugs, and the sheets weren't clean. But the staff was very, very kind. "

"The hotel rooms are small but if the plan is just for sleeping then is is great.The breakfast is awesome,have valet parking not overcharged and front desk people are very friendly and helpful."

"Pillows were stained, and smelly, sheets had hair and room service was non existent, breakfast was always the same items, loud air conditioning. Also everyone hears everything outside the rooms due to poor insulation on walls. Overall a poor experience. "
