"The whole area around the hotel was a building site. Fortunately we were only staying one night. Had to walk around the building site which was very muddy, to get lunch. The staff were exceptional and once the construction work is finished it should be fine. But it is a huge area and will take a long time to be finished. "

This did not impact us this time but may impact others. Hotel is out of Salisbury town centre, but there are bus stops very close to the hotel . Buses are frequent and very reasonable. This makes the hotel accessible to town. Would I use the hotel again? - Yes "

"There are no lifts but the staff helped with heavy cases if asked. There were no glasses for water in the room. The unique building - based on a jungle theme - was novel but needed refreshing. The staff were friendly and helpful. "

"I have trouble walking and the lift was out of order on arrival. Not to worry, the sevice team swapped our first floor room for a ground floor more accessible one as soon as they saw the problem. Thank you so much for for your kindly intervention. We had a good night sleep and the breakfast was outstanding. This set us up for the ferry journey to the Isle of Wight. Superb!"

"Overnight stop and picked hotel at random. On arrival found old school BW which was, probably, a family run hotel back in the day. Lots of character, e.g. the breakfast room that was a vaulted ballroom/function room overlooking the garden, with original features and spotlessly clean and tidy. This is not a cut and paste could be anywhere chain hotel and would happily use again, also was remarkably good value for bed and breakfast. "

"Good property lovely courtyard and nice room and bathroom. Breakfast was great. Only thing that was missing was a bar, rather than the fridge on reception. I would stay again and would recommend. D Harvey Nottingham"
