"Zleep Hotel is my "go to" place to stay when I have a layover in Madrid. The staff are friendly, helpful, and proficient in English. There is a very reasonably priced and safe shuttle bus service between the Zleep Hotel and airport that you can reserve in advance. "The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. We did not know we had to book another room for our 15 year old, since in Spain the law says that only kids 11 and under can stay with their parents in a double room, although they had an extra bed put in there. Fortunately, the second room was only half the price. Also, the hotel is 10 minutes away from the airport with the car, not on foot, as I read some reviews. A taxi is 22 euros to the airport. "
