"Owners were awesome, very helpful, both spoke English. Breakfast was pretty nice. Hotel was clean, neat and the grounds were quite pleasant. The roses out by the entrance to the pool gorgeous and amazing. My only complaint was having to ask for the air conditioner remote. Even though the nights were cool, getting the air to transfer outside with out movement was impossible. Oh! And not a bad location if you have a car."

"We stayed at hotel La Vela while attending a wedding nearby. We were more than pleasantly surprised by the hotel itself. It was in an excellent location within the town, on a quiet street a couple of minutes walk from the historic center & lake. Rooms were clean with a balcony & nice bathroom & beds very comfortable. "Staff was not friendly nor unfriendly. Very limited dining options in the area and the facility was average in amenities but clean. Just okay. I noticed the towels are allowed to dry outside on the line which means no heat to sterilize the towels…thats a NO for me!"

"Easy check in- they left the key on the counter for us even though we got there by 8pm. Casual approach. The next day we gave her our passport info and it was all very laid back. We had booked twin beds but we’re given a double bed, so that was unfortunate but there was no one there to ask for a change so we just had to share. It was clean and comfortable. "
