"Lovely agriturismo in Tuscany, we enjoyed our four days. Great for families, wonderful pool with vista views of the countryside and vineyards, ping pong, and football tables for the kids. Cesare was such a welcoming and pleasant host."

"This property was so perfect for our Tuscany stay! The rooms are decorated beautifully, the grounds are gorgeous and it was just. Few minutes from Montepulciano, perfect for day trips. Matteo was kind and extremely helpful in all aspects, the communication was excellent. You can tell the family takes a lot of pride in this property and cares about their guests. "DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! This place is running a SCAM!!!! I stayed here 2 nights with my family and it has been an absolute nightmare! First of all, upon “check in” we realized that there is no reception. We met the property managers in the parking lot and they brought us to our apartment. Then after checking in, bringing in our bags and dogs, the man insisted to come in our apartment to “controllare” our stuff and see our dogs. "We had an amazing time here! Stefano is the absolute greatest at taking care of travel details- we arrived at 1am from our flight and there was a crib set up with cute little blankets and a pillow for our toddler. He texted us before we arrived through the What's App to help us check in virtually. He also recommended many amazing restaurants for us and placed a takeout order for us one night since our Italian is non bueno! This was also a fantastic stay for the price. Cannot recommend this place...

Casa Bacco - private house with a remarkable garden in the centre of Cortona

Dreaming of our return

"Our two adult children who were studying abroad met us here with our younger two children. We had two nights in a 12 day stay in Italy. Of all our stops, this was by far our favorite. The house was like a story book. The garden was so lovely, we spent an afternoon eating and sharing a bottle of wine. We were here in November and the weather was very mild compared to Chicago winters. Most of the stores and restaurants were open with far less people. We weren’t really here to see anything, we were only here to be. We rented a car and drove here from Venice. We easily parked in a free lot before we entered the town. The uphill hike was funny and an adventure for us. We did our laundry and I happily hung it from the lines out the window (no dryer). I would stay in this home if you are looking for something relaxing and authentic. It is easily walkable to everything in this enchanting town. We moved on and enjoyed the rest of our trip, but under different circumstances, my wife and I could’ve stayed much longer. There was more than enough room for our entire family. The house was charming and well equipped. "

"First off, Cortona is BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING! Such an amazing old walled city to walk, photograph and enjoy! Second, this property is one of the most beautiful and ancient places I’ve ever stayed! The halls and rooms were stunning. Old stone and iron everywhere. We stayed in the top room with the terrace. Oh man, I just can’t tell you how beautiful and fun this stay was. We sat on the terrace and watched the meteor shower while I did night photography! This property is stunning. The parking down the hill was free! Just pull into the parking lot, park, then call the desk to get you a taxi up to the hotel! Unless you’re fit and can climb a hill with suitcases get a quick 2 minute taxi up there! Trust me, it’s a walled city and the walk up and down is a thing! It’s only 150 yards or so but damn, it’s an ancient cobble stone hill! Get the ride! Bring comfy shoes because you’re gonna walk the whole town! "

"The Villa di Piazzano is stunning down to the smallest detail. The staff is attentive, pleasant and helpful. The food and wine at the onsite restaurant was some of the best we had on our 23-day trip across Italy. One of our favorite stays for sure!"
