"Service is good. From the reception to the bell boy to the restaurant staff. The male manager at the breakfast reception is always bright and courteous every morning. Club room is super worth it since there’s food throughout the day with yummy cheesecakes etc. There’s even free flow liquor available. The club room is pretty and nicely renovated. We loved our stay at TOBA we stayed 3 nights"

"Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The onsens are an additional nice touch. The downside is how far it is from the downtown area, but the shuttle makes that a non issue, also the bus drops you off right at the door. A convenience store nearby is also good if you need late night food."

"Too bad we only stayed one night I would love to stay longer. Comes with complimentary breakfast but dun expect much it's very basic. Dun miss the welcome lemon drink at the lobby very refreshing and great coffee too. "

"Property is old but probably still the best hotel in the area. Heater in room was difficult to maintain consistent temperature. Room furnishings are dated and some are damaged. The public bath, sauna and other relaxation offerings are nice. However, when it comes to amenities of any kind forget it. All you get is a toothbrush and q tips. The hotel is directly across the street from Mikawa Anjo Tokaido line Shinkansen station. Not many restaurants in the area. Lastly, no tattoos in public bath....

"Property was very much a traditional Japanese hotel. Felt good to enjoy such a hotel with a Japanese architectural design throughout the property and each room down to an onsen in each room. Additionally, the inner sanctuary was within walking distance. Highl6 recommend this hotel and property!"
