"Hotel looks a little shabby on the outside, but is in reasonably good condition internally. Very friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently positioned for city (about a 35min walk) free parking at hotel. Buffet breakfast with wide choices. The room was on the small side and we could hear other guests. Pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. All facilities in room worked well and were clean. "

"Cedar Court hotel was excellent for our stay. We had a spacious room and everything from check in to departure was to our liking. Admittedly there was an extremely large event on and there was about 300 people in the bar area from about 6.30 until 7.30 when they went to their private room. The bar was busy but the staff seemed to be coping. It would of been nice to have been informed before or at checkin. It didnt affect our evening but some people may have found it overwhelming. "

"Brilliant location stones throw from minster. Staff were extrememy friendly and accommoding with parking arrangements. Room was a brilliant size (we had 3 adults sharing 2 single beds and a sofa bed). Not at all cramped. All decoration and bathroom lovely and clean. Ample tea and voffee in room and at reception was nice touch. Good choice of hot breakfast options on the menu. Couldn't fault location. Very central but the minster bells didn't keep us awake, good soundproofing! Would definitely...
