It is in a convenient location, near several places to eat but it's not easy to walk into Pontypool as the main route is a dual carriageway. We had a room for three and my daughter said the pull out sofabed was very uncomfortable, it did appear to be collapsing. I'd stay again as a couple though. "

"I really liked the fact that this was a traditional town centre hotel, with local staff who knew what was wanted, nothing fancy but very good for an overnight stay. I also liked the fact that I could book room only. However, there is nothing on the website about parking - I think it needs to say that there is no dedicated parking, that there are bays outside for one hour only, so okay to load and unload, but needs to be an indication that there is a short stay car park behind the hotel and a...
