"My wife loved this place! She thought the rooms were well designed and crafted with quality...not the usual with a hotel. My take was that it was safe, comfortable, and clean. All the things that matter for me. I would add that across the street is the Wild Plum Cafe which has delicious pastries and breakfast. Get your free coffee at the hotel and your breakfast at the Wild Plum and be a happy camper!"

"You have to keep in mind that you are staying at a historic hotel. It’s beautiful & has that old hotel feel, which I always love. The amenities are so so, but that is to be expected. With that being said the room I stayed in has all the comforts of home. It’s cozy & the water is hot :) I enjoy staying in places like this which may not be the same for everyone. "Nice place, right on Cannery Row. The place was very quiet. While we did have to deal with a valet for the car, they were always very prompt. We stayed over Christmas, which might have affected these things."

"It was a cozy Spanish style place in a great location next to Fisherman’s Wharf. Rooms were much bigger than expected with a nice fireplace. It had a paid parking but you can easily find parking spots in street in front of the hotel. Breakfast was basic."

"This is a wonderful hotel. Rooms are updated and very comfortable. No bugs and always clean. Plenty of parking so you can enjoy a short 5 minute walk to the beach. Right next to the freeway just how I like it. I love the sound. A hot breakfast is made with love daily along with complimenting drinks. Staff is so nice and very welcoming. You will definitely enjoy your stay."
