"Great budget hotel for before/after a cruise out of Southampton. My room in the main building was comfortable with a modern bathroom, everything was clean and the staff were all friendly. Easy to get to on the public bus routes."

"It was a nice enough stay. The bathroom needed updating in the allocated room, it was definitely showing signs of age and use. Unfortunately the mattress has probably had countless people sitting on the side of it, as it sloped to one side. Convenient to use the pub downstairs, parking was fine."

"The hotel is a little dated but is clean and comfortable. Having an indoor swimming pool is a real plus for days when the weather rules out a dip in the sea. Room service came every day. Overall excellent value for money and would stay here again when visiting Bournemouth "

"Very impressed that I could change a booking date due to an error, but it took time over the phone with Expedia. Desk staff very helpful and friendly. Disappointed that car parking was £8.50 for 24 hours where it is free parking in other local hotels. This was not highlighted in the booking or website. Shame as everything else was fine. No poached eggs option for breakfast which was otherwise good. "

"Lovely immaculately clean room, we requested for a quiet room and that’s what we got. The only niggles, we’re that there was only a limited selection of tea and coffee and the young girl on reception when we booked in was unfriendly and not very helpful."
