"I arrived to the area with a rental car, and they have an attendant who will come by and guide you to check in and help with luggage as they'll move your car and keep the keys afterwards. Check in was easy, with a minor mixup as they brought me to another room confusing me with another foreigner who would be checking in same day but corrected it quickly. Booked with a half board, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious for both days with nicely presented locally sourced ingredients....

"Ideal room setup for a family with small kids. The futons can be closed off with the partition allowing for separation between kids and adult. Shower and onsen were spacious and the room came with kitchenette including stove, fridge and microwave. Good location within walking distance of restaurants, stores and some local attractions. "

"Feels very upmarket from the entrance all the way to the room. The Japanese room I stayed in felt extremely large; like a 5-star hotel in Tokyo. The washbasin area looks modern and is well equipped with amenities, including a face steamer. Separate toilet is large. Bathtub is deep for a good soak with a nice view of the outside. However, it was let down in a couple of respects - the floor was not as clean as it could have been and there was very limited hanging space. Also, although the communication prior to arrival was clear the check in process itself was unnecessarily bureaucratic and time consuming. Having registered each member of our party online prior to arrival we then, on arrival, still needed to submit individual photos of each member...
