"The staff were amazing and friendly. We were there for a funeral and had the celebration at the hotel after, they made the arrangements so easy in a hard time. The onsite pub/restaurant had great food at a decent price. The cleaning attendants did a great job on daily service. The only thing I felt was lacking was an in room safe, when travelling from out of country, it would be great for price of mind. "

"I love this old Manor House hotel, it has an abundance of character in a charming, tranquil setting. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff attending to us. So friendly and obliging. Hotel is clean, food is great, I’ll definitely be back. "

"Good sized car park, reception just to left inside main entrance. Efficient check in. Good sized well appointed room. Good choice of food and drink with offers in menu. They change daily. Overall pleased, will stop there again. Busy road getting out of carpark but not an issue."

"Wonderful country Inn that welcomes dogs. Real fire and in a gorgeous setting. Evening meal was great and staff very helpful. At breakfast it was ‘do it yourself’ and the coffee machine was not working. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"I enjoyed my stay the room was fine , the was a hole in the wall I noticed but other than that there was nothing to complain about staff were pleasant and welcoming, breakfast was great. The location was a bit out of it for me But for those who want a quiet out of the hustle and bustle it would be perfect. "

"Stayed for two nights, Great service by the bar maid had a good laugh with her on the Thursday night 31/10/24 and the chef before his shift and the manager at night. 01/11/24 Nearly missed out on my breakfast in the morning as I had a few too many to drink the night before and I was late. Chef agreed to still make me breakfast which I was really grateful for, the waitress at breakfast didn’t offer me any drinks and if I didn’t pretty much beg her to ask the chef if they could still make me...

"I arrived mid-morning, knowing that check-in was not until 4.00pm. Despite this, they allowed me to park my car in their car park so that I could go off on a hike along the coastal path. Later, when I checked in and was shown to a room, they let me switch to a room with a bath, which I need for medical reasons. This was much appreciated, as were the evening meal and breakfast which were excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all, one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in."

"Very Basic Facilities nothing fancy. We understand they are in a transition period and obviously a few things need attention. We did get a very warm welcome. "
