The property is definitely a three star but I can confidently say they are working in it as we speak. The owners bought the property about one year ago and are continuing to upgrade it. "Hotel was good overall, but everything in the bathroom was rough, for example the shower head would stay up, and the sink was handle was extremely stiff. Also I could hear everything around me, like people walking up the stairs. "

"The staff were friendly and efficient. The location is awesome, walkable to everything we wanted to do and see, lots of excellent restaurants and shopping nearby. Christmas was in full swing with the most beautiful trees,lights and decor everywhere. The breakfast buffet was the best breakfast we’ve had in Italy yet. The room was clean and equipped with everything we needed. I would absolutely stay here again."

"The property was clean but it was old. All the furniture and appliances were maybe over 30 years and it was like staying in the 1950. But my wife liked the breakfast. The staff were great and helpful. But the hotel itself needed renovation."

The service was amazing, complimentary water given in the room and one for the road. Would definitely return here, worth being further out of lake como for the views alone. "
