"Excellent hotel on the edge of the Masai Mara with a pedestrian bridge into the park so that you can meet your driver on the other side and avoid the Talek gate. Food was OK and the drinks reasonably priced. But it is the amazing staff that make this hotel special. Highly recommended."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Mara Duma in a triple tent. The tent was right on the Talek River and we slept to the sounds of hippos grunting and frogs. "The Nebu Lodge cancelled our reservation and we were not allowed to stay at their hotel. We called to confirm on the afternoon of our reservation and were advised that they had no space available and that they had notified us by email on Saturday. We did not receive an email, nor did the guest in room 2. We did not make the reservation on Saturday! We should not be charged for this room. the only email we received was the one from hotels.com advising us that our reservation was confirmed...

"David and his team were exceptional! All meals were delicious and prepared fresh by their chef. Very close (5-7 minute) to the gate park! They have so many add on features including a champagne breakfast within Maasai Mara National Park…They also have photography options to capture your moments. Very accommodating and friendly staff. The bathrooms and kitchens can use some revamping but David is constantly making improvements to the space. Looking forward to staying here again. "
