"Staff members were excellent, extremely kind and helpful. They work very hard. Breakfast was excellent. Evening menu could be better. The hotel lacks a lounge area for guests. The car park is inadequate and difficult to negotiate. View from the terrace is lovely. "

"This is a very old pub so to be expected that floors are somewhat uneven, took a bit of time to get used to this. Room was at front of building,had a large, comfortable bed and nice clean bathroom. Sadly our stay was spoilt by other guests on Saturday night making lots of noise till the early hours. Breakfast was excellent with good choices, particularly catering for gluten free diet. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. "

"Very welcoming staff so that was a great first impression. Very well presented accommodation. Great shower. Plenty of beverages and having a sofa too in the evening was a bonus. Enjoyed some good food in the pub along with a very drinkable bottle of red. Great atmosphere. Bed was very comfortable. It is only self serve continental breakfast of cereal, yoghurt and toast. But price we paid was ok for that. Bad points - road was noisy but ear plugs sorted that out. Also need an eye...
