"The room was clean and big. The bed was comfy and shower nice and hot. The room had a strange smell I suspect someone had been smoking and it was cold we had to keep the heater on constant maybe because it was the end room with two outside walls. Damp patches on one of the walls. "

"Whilst most of the facilities were good, our bath had 2 marks where the ceramic had been damaged. This did not spoil things for us, but it would probably be better to rip out the bath and replace with a shower."

"Location is good. Reception lady seems getting minimum wage, still doing her job with unwilling face. Twin room with window (no view at all) is SUPER small, without any table or bench to leave your belongings. Just two fixed hangers which didn’t help. Shower head is leaking a lot. You’ll need to borrow the hair dryer from the reception. To get into the floor you need to tap your room card, security level is good."

"Whilst the condition of this Britannia Hotel may be a it run own in places - the facilities and staff are excellent. The welcome I received on my check in (which was after 10pm) was outstanding and the gym host could not have been friendlier. The gym whilst small and a little outdated, was also a brilliant facility to have available. This service along with these facilities at this price wa amazing value!!"

Nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The hotel is right on the side of a massive park/green. Nice location."

"A modern hotel close to the M62 Briar Court excelled in many ways. A 20 minute drive and you can be in Bronte Country or in the opposite direction the Peak District. Excellent location for buisness and leisure. "

"Room clean, functional. Ensuite bathroom larger than in some properties, but tea/coffee making facilities in kitchen at end of corridor rather than in room. Ample free parking. Most other residents nuns or priests, but all very friendly. Breakfast room very sunny, no complaints about the buffet breakfast. Nice gardens with plenty of birdsong. "
