"I extended my stay as I was enjoying the experience. Not overly busy as still in the low season (early December) so nice & quiet around the pool area. Allocated a standard room with pool & sea view 3rd floor which was a bonus. No noise from other rooms. Clean rooms & a great shower! The Ibis has a small but well equipped gym & not overly busy. "Very good location - right in the middle of chaweng (a two minute walk to quality bars/restaurants, shopping, entertainment, etc), and at the same time located on the beach - can easily walk barefoot onto the middle of chaweng beach. My room was fifteen metres from the sand. Good value for money. The real downside, the compromise, is that it’s not the best in terms of fixtures and fittings, decoration and cleanliness, and the surrounding site is in parts detelict. But they do seem to be working...

Absolutely loved the room, very cool setup and roomy and loved the indoor outdoor shower. Easy walk down the beach to fisherman’s village and the happening bars at night. "Nice quiet place for a good price. I liked the pool. Not many people using it with the beaches so close. Very peaceful for me. Simple place with simple rules. Respect your fellow neighbors, keep pool towels on the property (don’t take to the beach) and enjoy your stay."

"Staff are so helpful and friendly! As a single female I felt safe and taken care of. Beautiful beach, not crowded. Scooter on site for rental, lovely little restaurant on site and 2 min walk to shops and restaurants. Clean rooms. Loved my stay so much I stayed for 10 extra days. I will be back and would recommend this to friends and family!! "

"2nd stay here, lovely big rooms, mine was facing the pool and I had quick access to the pool. breakfast was ok, eggs made to order. I can only put the poor selection down it being the rainy season and low occupancy. Close to everything, plenty of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Beach is a short walk and is still one of the best. Would definitely stay again "
