"It is both a location and a beautiful spot. Not too costly, either. Everyone was really nice. Old bathrooms were the only thing we disliked, particularly a bathtub that appeared to be from ancient times. It was not something I wanted to walk barefoot in. Fortunately, whenever my daughter and I go somewhere, we always bring shower shoes. Also, To improve the room's appearance, the glass on the windows and balcony door should be replaced."

"We enjoyed 2 days at this lovely, vintage, lodge. If you like history, antiques, and God's beautiful creation, LOOK no more - THIS is where you want to be. There are 2 very lovely porches to enjoy your book or simply listen to the Au Sable & birds and a few steps down to the river for fishing. Great dining opportunities are close or up to 20 minutes away. We plan to stay here again!!"

"It was great! The host was prompt in communication, and when we had some issues with the wrong key code being sent, she answered right away and got us fixed up promptly. "Our family enjoyed a fun-filled week at ‘Eagle’s Nest’! The sandy beach and shallow lake edge were perfect for grandchildren (1-3 years old). Cottage has a lovely and well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and a stunning view. We recommend renting a pontoon for many enjoyable hours on the lake. Many thanks to our host Jodi!
