"great location views out to sea, over the harbour and the Abbey - comfy bed with choice of pillows - well appointed bathroom - looked fairly new - good sized shower with lovely smelling shower gel in the dispenser -good breakfast ( asked for poached eggs - came in good time and were "perfect" ) real beer ( Timothy Taylors Landlord ) in the bar -all staff on duty through our visit were very professional efficient and polite -would recommend, will visit again -thanks "

"The Spa Hotel sits just above the gorgeous coastline with an easy path down to the seaside. It is a slightly steep hill up to the town center, but that's easily walkable. The restaurant was excellent and everyone so kind and friendly. I saw the most spectacular sunrise and sunset at the property. You can't help but fall in love with the Hotel and it's natural beauty in the seaside surroundings."

"The hotel was fantastic from the outside, but the receptionist wasnt so good. We stood for over 10 min whilst he lounged in a chair on the phone. No acknowledgment we were even there. The hotel is under renovation but we weren’t told that, not a big problem but would have been nice to know. The menus for the evening was not a lot to choose from and was a tad over priced in my opinion. The room was clean and warm and the breakfast good. "

"Fabulous stay at The White Swan Inn for two nights. Lovely area and only 30 minutes from Whitby along the most amazing road. Hotel was everything we had hoped for, friendly, cozy, great restaurant, bar and atmosphere. Lovely fires welcomed you back after a chilly day. Room was comfortable, clean and lots of tea and coffee and water available. Breakfast was amazing too. Lovely team"

"This was a great hotel, in that it was old, and rustic in a good way. Lovely setting by a brook. The food was excellent. Good friendly bar area. Open fire, very dog friendly. The beds and bed limen and showers were very clean and comfortable. Just bits of dust on the skirting and a bit tired in places. Rooms had tea and coffee and a welcoming snack for both people and their pet friends Would definitely stay again . "
