Also kept awake due to the plumbing making a noise like someone drilling on and off and also made shower vibrate a come on so sounded like heavy rain, such ashame"

"Our second visit to the Blacksmiths Arms. Stayed in room 11 which was one of the little cottages at the rear of the property. Very comfortable room with full length shower in the bathroom. The food was outstanding with a good breakfast selection and delicious evening meals. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a bus stop on the main road every half hour to Whitby (via Robin Hood’s bay) and Scarborough in the opposite direction so we were able to leave the car and travel by bus....
