"My stay at Kona Islander Inn has been nice, and it's ongoing .. I had to switch condo units yesterday because the first one was prebooked. The community is in a perfect location to most activities in Kona, and the shops are close by for groceries. There's a nice pool area, a welcoming lounge, and laundry facilities. Paradise everyday! "I love everything about this property. It is so close to grocery store, beach, and what the property has to offer. I can't believe how close we are to the manta ray activities. we were also able to see the whale from our patio. It is nice and clean and spacious. "

"BEAUTIFUL!!! We decided on a last minute trip to the Big Island. We didnt really want to stay at a resort. So glad we came across Gingerhilll Farm Retreat. We stayed in Monkey Tree tent. The bed was so comfortable. Probably the best bed ive ever slept in besides our home one. We live on a farm so this place was a littler more noisy for us. Lots of frogs going off and a very abnoxious rooster that i feel needs to go in a stew pot.or be moved away from all the cabins. He starts crowing around 2am. Other then that the place was amazing. If your afraid of the dark and big spiders(harmless) this place is not for you. But if you want something off the wall and not a resort or you want a trip thats not going to hurt the pocket book i highly recommend Gingerhill Farm Retreat. Oh we are not a young couple. In our 50's and this was one of the better trips we have been on. So laid back. "
