"Beautiful property, albeit much farther from Reykjavik. The cottages were very small, though, for a family of four. Bathroom was especially tiny and at times didn’t have hot water and not even bath soap (only a shampoo). But the owners were lovely and even gave us free eggs from their chickens on the property. We enjoyed our stay overall."

"This is a very nice large hotel that can host bus groups. Very clean and high standards. We ate dinner at another restaurant so do not know how crowded the dining room was. At breakfast, there were a lot of people but they had enough sitting as they opened up a separate room. I would stay here again. "

"Nice cottage under the mountain. Easy access, about 1.5 hours from Keflavik Airport by car. Very good option for a stopover to west or north of Iceland."

"Wow, this place gives you the warm welcoming feeling just like you are at home with its very special and beautiful decoration. The owner gave lots of love to te interior design. She owns the coffee shop down stair that has a little of everything. The town shopping center is just 5 minutes drive. To park in front of the door you need to drive up a stiff hill. If you are not comfortable there is a parking on the street too. I love the patio and in unit washer dryer. Very nice owner."

"The house was amazing, the check-in experience was awful. The house is loosely connected to the hotel which manages the check in, but the house is actually family run. The front desk agent was friendly, but had us sit for almost an hour without an update. The restaurant refused to book us stating we weren't part of the hotel, despite the fact that the front desk disagreed. The house made up for it."
