"People were very nice. I was grumpy when I arrived for personal reasons. Katie at the front desk was very kind, understanding and a good listener. *You have to ask for your room to be cleaned FYI. I ended up leaving $165 in the pocket of an old pair of shorts the morning I left. I threw then away. When I realized what I had done. I called back and got Katie. Although I was rude to her, she was very kind and empathetic. She went through maid cars, old trash and checked other places...

"We stayed at the Ayres Hotel for 4 days. We did early check in, which was a nice option to have. The hotel is very clean, inside and outside. The area is safe. Short drive to Disneyland. Parking and breakfast included is always a plus. Breakfast area was clean, they do have someone making pancakes so they're "fresh" not frozen. Plenty of parking spots. Room very spacious. Beds were comfortable. I will definitely be staying here again! "

"Overall, this was a great stay. It's in a great location within walking distance of all of the Costa Mesa breweries; just a 20 minute drive from either the beach or Disney. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The shower in the room was magnificent, one of the best in a hotel of this value. Just a few little cons: 1 - the elevators need to be replaced. I never fully felt safe in the elevators, they were slow and loud and grinding, the buttons never worked, the lights...
