I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. I asked housekeeping (in fluent Spanish) at 8am to come back in an hour to clean the room and furnish us with 4 more bath towels and change one of the sheets on the queen beds since my daughter accidentally spilled coffee on it. Upon our return at 3pm, we went into the room where nothing was cleaned. Same as we left it with no towels. I had to go to linen closet and get my own towels. I complained to front desk manager and he said he couldn't compensate anything since it was booked through Expedia, a 3rd party company. Terrible customer service.

The most beautiful ocean view with a super close walk to the shore. Didn’t catch the hotel concierges name but he was very nice and welcoming with our arrival. Would recommend this beautiful spot. :)

Loved the stay. The location is phenomenal and the hotel is in good shape. Had a clean room with partial sea view and sound of the ocean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. A noisy fountain was turned off at night upon request - thanks again!

Very expensive for experience offered. Reserved 'ocean front,' but our room looked onto the roof of another building. You could see the ocean but the roof obstructed a view of beach or waves. It is a long walk of many steps to the very small and hazardous beach area. Parking was a jigsaw puzzle and did not accommodate larger than average cars well. No central air or ceiling fans in the room, two portable floor fans/swamp coolers were provided, which were somewhat efficient, but very loud. Room was fine, the people we encountered were nice. Construction sounds began 0700, on this property and one next door. Lots of other places to choose from in that area, and when spending that amount of money.

The location was great, parking is super compact so best if you have a small car. Second floor guests were loud two nights in a row at 130am. You could hear them walking around above us. The room was clean but not as nice as you would expect for the price.

Capri Laguna is an older coastal Cali hotel but it was a great place to stay. The employees were all friendly and helpful, the view of the ocean off the upper deck is unmatched and the pool was heated to 85 for a nice night time swim! Breakfast was free with plenty of choice and they have Starbucks in the lobby! It’s fairly bare bones in the room but comfy and quiet! The tide was high when I was there but they have space for chairs and stuff on the beach as well. Highly recommend for a stay!

Upon arrival , first impression was that the place was run down. The staff at front desk were nice. We got to our room and it was closest to the loud and noisy street. Upon entering, the room was musty, damp, the furnishings old and tired. The floor sloped down, which is concering. Very sad and disappointing room. Then noticed there were no outlets to plug anything into to include my partners cpap machine. We went to the front desk and they were able to switch our room. The second room was updated and now inviting. Clean and no smell. The bed was comfortable. A portable a/c unit was provided which was much needed. The door to the bathroom was a glass shower door. Did not provide privacy. The pics on the site are a bit misleading. The view from the deck was overlooking a roof and can not see the beach. The view was mostly of the construction with all it's noise included. I really wanted this to be amazing, but it did not deliver.
