"confusing until you understand there are two Tasman Holiday parks in Waihi. We stayed at Beachhaven which was very nice but did not have as many activities for the kids as the other Waihi Tasman campground e.g. pool, slides. Which we found booking through Expedia is not well explained or advertised clearly. We were though, treated well and the accommodation was excellent at Beachhaven"

"Couldn't have asked or organised a better place to stay! Easy to book, clean and modern room, wonderful staff, close vicinity to a wedding venue we were attending, plenty of parking (if not outside your room in another car park behind), also close to local main road (but far enough away no noise issues etc) of wonderful eateries and eclectic op shops and treasure troves. Looking forward to sometime coming back and staying again with more time to spend perusing the local area... thanks Pedlars...

"Beautiful grounds, worth a stroll. Challenging driveway. My check engine light came on so I am losing a day at the mechanic. It is very steep, your car will probably be fine, mine is very old. Twin room has one window which is at the entrance of another room so choose between privacy and natural light. Had issues with mosquitos, light switch near only one bed which doesn't have a nightstand. Overall beautiful property with a challenging room (twin), the other rooms seem better."

"Comfortable venue and patient/gracious hosts: we arrived later than ideal, but the team were very friendly and understanding. A good place to stay in Waihi as a base to explore Waikato or to head to Bay of Plenty or the Coromandel. Would recommend."
