"When arrived no one at reception (we arrived at around 4.30) had to hunt for someone. Room on first inspection was nice but dust in places, window would shut properly (hubby had to use curtain tie back to stop it opening). Bathroom had a seweage smell to it so had to keep door shut. No plug in the sink and shower didnt have much pressure and wouldnt stay in position. Only got 2 sets of towels for 3 people as was in family room. "great value for money. clean free parking friendly staff beware that lots of dogs stay here and it smells of wet dog. they don't have any pet free rooms, so if you have a pet allergy, and if you're nor a fan of the smell of wet hound, you may want to stee clear. "

"Very friendly and polite service from all the staff. Stayed the night before my daughter's driving test (travelled up from Windsor) and the staff went out of their way to keep her relaxed."

"Lovely room with a view of the river. Beautiful decor and the radio was much appreciated. Friendly hotel staff both at check in and at the bar. Room was warm and cosy and felt homely. Only downside was a few housekeeping issues but they did not affect our stay and the room was clean otherwise. Also the car parking situation which we were aware of prior to booking is something to consider if your not happy walking from an alternative car park. Looking forward to staying at the Tudor again soon."
