"Hotel room was perfect for a family very comfy beds and pillows, shower was a delight felt like i was getting a massage. Swimming pool was nice but changing rooms and toilets needed cleaning very dirty and run down. Food was very dissapointing and restaurant washy even open on the Tuesday night so had to find somewhere to eat. Breakfast was poor 13.95 for a full english and left a lot to desire for portion size and taste. Had some cheesy chips for lunch that were undercooked and tasteless....

"Had a lovely stay in a superior room. Every thing was very clean, in the room and the hotel bar/lounge. The room it's self was huge, we had a jacuzzi bath and a four poster bed. The bed was lovely and comfortable. All the staff were very attentive and chatty. I would highly recommend anyone in the area to give this hotel a go. The rooms are exceptional value compared to others in the area of the same price."

"An ideal base geographically for chosen sight seeing locations along with meeting up with friends. Disappointed that the room was not within the original 17 century building with so much character. I was allocated a ground floor room in a relatively new block at the rear of the property.
