"A nice modern hotel well placed for the old town. Staff were helpful and attentive. It lacks anywhere to get a beverage and snack during the day. I arrived at about 9pm and ate in the bar area where I paid over the odds for a very small portion of reheated chilli con carne. In summary, a nice place to sleep but limited other facilities."

"Overall a very clean and prime located property. Stylish decor and friendly staff. Modest breakfast. Only thing I didn’t like is that my room windows were opening towards an apartment building. There was only a darkening curtain. Which means either be visible to everyone or no view at all."

"The hotel is in an excellent location for travel in and out of Basel Bahnhof, and walking around central Basel. Service and the buffet breakfast are both very good. I had a cosy single room with thick window glazing to block most noise from the street below. I did not experience internal noise from other guests and slept well. The choice of eating options at the hotel and in it’s immediate vicinity is limited but there are great cafes and restaurants a short tram ride or a 10 minute away."

"Clean, easy to get to on tram 14. Only downside is the massive road and railway line outside my window. The windows blocked the sound but the room was a bit warm so I had to keep the window closed due to noise and the aircon was only just up to the task. "

"I used to live in the city years ago, and go back a few times a year to see old friends. Nice, newer hotel of the three located in this area, with good breakfast, nice drinks for apéro hour, good and prompt service. "

"Great location, very close to central station and tram stops. Really convenient for exploring the city and zoo, as well as further afield. The hotel is not staffed 24/7 but the adjacent hotel (which is part of the same group) is, and they can assist with check in/out, bookings and other queries. Everyone was really friendly. Not all of the hotel is accessible by lift so if this is needed, let the hotel know when booking. We would stay here again. "

"The elevator was not large, but they can help you with the luggage. The front desk is very helpful in directions and they provide Basel card for the duration of the trip- which is a pleasant surprise (allowing you all the public transportation for free in the city)"
