"The room i was initially booked into had not been cleaned when i arrived. I reported this and was met with excellent service and my room was upgraded at once to compensate. The hotel is well situated with best view of the sea ive experienced in all the hotels ive stayed at in Eastbourn. Standards were good for the price. Not really luxury but perfectly ok."

We arrived on time, were greeted warmly & the check-,in was smooth & quick. Our room was nicely placed facing east overlooking the garden. "Very pleasant welcome from the staff as we arrived with quick checkin and everything ready for us to checkin. The room is a decent size and clean, generally comfortable. As it’s an older property you can hear creaking from other rooms but not too bad, needs a little bit of tlc around but again overall pretty good. Bar onsite with decent pricing. Breakfast also a good selection with friendly staff. Overall we would recommend this hotel"
