"Our suite was ready when we arrived which we appreciated after a 90 minute drive. The front desk staff was very friendly and quick to check us in. We had 2 young children with us and we were surprised and happy to know the pool was open until 11pm! While we didn’t use the balcony in our suite we loved the fireplace and the fact that the bedroom was separate from the rest of the living area as well as a decent size sofa bed for the kids. "Our stay at The Cranberry Moon Inn was fantastic. This B&B was convenient located in Bala, which allowed for us to enjoy a variety of winter activities in the area. The B&B was beautifully finished. You really can see the thought that was put into how it was planned and decorated. The owners, Kim and Doug, were excellent hosts. They really catered to our every need. "

There are two negative aspects: 1. proximity to the road so that it was noisy at times; 2. cleanliness was generally good though we collected a lot of sand when we swept the floors and the toilet seat had not been throughly cleaned."

"When we were arrived, we were greeted by the owner who was cleaning our parking spot of the snow. Super friendly and wonderful check-in. The room was very quaint and clean (other than a bone under the bed). All was wonderful, other than there were very minimal receptacles, but we travel with enough cords to deal with our CPAP and Laptop. The Wi-Fi for the laptop kept dropping out, but other than that, we will most certainly stay again. "

"We were met with a beautiful cabin! It was nice and toasty and very clean. We also ate at the restaurant and were very happy with the friendliness and welcoming attitude of every staff member there! They also had a great playlist of as soon as we entered the restaurant! We would highly recommend this resort!"

This is the place to stay

"We had booked this room because of a terrible experience we had with the Stone Gate in orillia. The front desk people were so friendly Carrie and Josh. from the moment you walked in the doors you felt welcome. We booked in on the 7th Feb 2025, which was a huge snow storm. The highway was closed down because of a 50 car pile up. Around dinner the parking lot started filling up with people who had been stranded on the highway all day. Because of the weather there were some staff that could not make it in, so they were short handed. there was one server-bartender and one cook. Our server slash bartender ( Michelle) was amazing. She kept everyone up beat and had a smile on her face the whole time. There was a bit of a wait for food, but it did come out in a timely manner considering the droves of people coming through the doors. The lobby was packed and Josh and Carrie handled it very professionally. Everyone was nice including the guests. The staff were so kind it kept everyone calm and relaxed. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. SHOUT OUT TO ALL THE STAFF at the Quality Inn On Woodside Dr. Orillia"
