Tru by Hilton Bracebridge exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in easy. The amenities were modern and well-maintained, including a great gym and social space. I had a great experience at this Tru hotel! The staff were respectful, friendly, and approachable, making us feel welcome. The washrooms and community areas were always clean, and everything looked brand new and well-maintained. The pool was fantastic—my kids had so much fun! The Tru is a newly refurbished facility. Excellent welcome at check in. Everything is in great condition and the pool and gym, although not huge, are great facilities. The heating system made rumbling noises at night and neighbouring room TV sound was obvious; not overly obvious but definitely there in the background. Breakfast was adequate but more motel than hotel. The 24 hour tea and coffee station was very welcome. Would definitely stay again.

It's a really nice hotel and it's convenient. It would be nice if they have better ventilation as the hood fan is not working. Very minimal room service and no cleaning products like broom and dust pan for you to clean. We love it is inside the mall and nest MTR station. Overall it is a pleasant stay.

The pre authorization is $250 for anyone that travels everyday because they can take up-to a week to drop off. Quite high for the area. $25 seems to be the norm at Hilton Hotels in Muskoka.

Nice hotel, the only complaint was that we had a bad night sleep as the beds were very unconformable, there was 3 of us and we all had the same experience. Not sure if beds are new and havent been broken in yet. We stayed at hotels before and never experienced this. If refund would be an option we would take it.

Had over $200 in hidden fees the desk lady did say they do not post these fees until check in. My $191 night went to $440. Found out it’s full illegal to not include these fees online with a quick google search.

Our stay has been the most wonderful stay ever. Everything is modern and meet the functionality, occupational physical needs of anyone who would stay here particularly in room 221. The simplicity of the place makes it more sophisticated. Our safety and our quality family time had been met. It is so quiet and spaceous Super clean. I like the waste system And open concept. Everything was beyond our expectations The breakfast was so awesome and modern our daughter who is so picky enjoyed making pancakes and ate a lot of scrambled egg. The staff was so welcoming. Overall we felt that we were still home away from home. :) This hotel set the bar high! We can't thank you enough. We are happy for the next family who will visit this hotel. :) and hopefully there will be lots of this everywhere as we travel a lot. Sincerely, From a health care provider, construction supervisor and a grade 1 student :)

There was nothing that I liked as this particular Tru is NOT Hilton quality in any way… The pool was green, foamy and closed - even though it was advertised as open. I specifically booked to have family pool access over a rainy March break weekend. The front desk staff refused to take any responsibility for the inconvenience and offered nothing to offset it. They claimed to be unable to make any alterations or upgrades to third party bookings and seemed especially not to value Expedia customers at all. They to recommended going to another hotel with pool access in Bracebridge (Quality Inn) but then insinuated that the very place was unclean, which seemed unprofessional and manipulative. They said I may or may not be able to get a refund if I cancelled late. In the end, I decided not to waste anymore time on my bad booking and went to the Quality Inn - which was very clean with a great pool and customer service, and even offered an upgraded room for $75 less than my “Poo” by Hilton booking.
